The story;

At Sakura's house, Sakura and Madison sat side-by-side viewing an old album from when they were 10. Samantha and Adin sat in the Kitchen together, where their laughs could be heard in the living room.
Sakura and Madison giggled as they remembered times gone.
"Do you remember that Sakura?" asked Madison politely, pointing to a photo of Sakura and Li together with Meilin's head poked in. Sakura nodded and grinned happily to herself.
Sakura turned the page and there were two pages of photos of Madison and Tori that shot up like a red-hot poker. The smiling faces and pink drawn hearts pricked at Madison's eyes, and she was forced to turn away. Sakura's smile faded, as she became concerned for Madison. Madison turned the page and turned back.
"You miss him, don't you?" asked Sakura. Madison kept silent. "What happened anyway?" asked Sakura. Madison shook her head slightly opening her mouth to speak.
"What's all the giggling for?" came a voice from the kitchen door. "Oh, nothing dad" replied Sakura rubbing the back of her head with her hand. "Well alright, just checking" smiled Adin. His head moved from the door and Sakura and Madison were alone again.
"We just broke up," said Madison, "What?" asked Sakura slowly. "We just broke up, and then he left. He said he couldn't stand being around me without being with me" continued Madison.
Sakura fell silent, not knowing what to say.
"That was only four months ago" said Sakura, "he does write and asks about you a lot."
Madison looked at Sakura's eyes with confusion "he what?"
"I'll show you," said Sakura dropping the album on the floor and pulling Madison by the wrist to her room.
Kero was asleep in the sunlight from the window, mumbling about sweet things.
Sakura saw him and tip toed in, pulling an old show box from under bed. "Here!" she said pushing it into Madison.
Madison took it reluctantly, but sat on the floor and opened it. Sakura lay on her bed reading a teen magazine while Madison read the letters. Her facial expressions changed every time Sakura looked up.
Kero woke up. "Ah. Oh? (Laugh) got any cake for me Madison?" asked Kero stretching and flying over by her head.
Madison looked up at him "not today Kero."
Kero let out a sigh and then flew to Sakura making himself comfortable in front of the magazine. "KERO!" screamed Sakura. "Ah" replied Kero in shock, "what have I done now?" "Your in my way" replied Sakura a little calmer.
"I don't understand you sometimes Sakura, why do you yell? I could have moved if you asked," said Kero, "sorry Kero" replied Sakura apologetically.
The laughing of Madison broke in, "you's two can never get along long, can you?"
"Guess not" laughed Kero.
"What's wrong?" asked Adin breathing deeply in Sakura's doorway. 'What do you mean Mr. Avalon?" asked Madison putting the letters back. "Someone screamed. I though something had happened" said Adin still breathing deeply from running up the stairs. "Ah, no" said Sakura, "you worry too much" she smiled at him and he smiled back, "now with Tori gone for the time being "your the one here, sakura. I just want to keep after you." "You are dad." smiled Sakura 'just too well" she thought.
Adin left and Kero let out a sigh, "thank god for my small form."
Madison and Sakura nodded in unison.

"Did you have a good time with Madison?" asked Adin as he and Sakura ate.
Sakura slurped up her noodle strand and nodded "s'pose." Adin smiled as he always did.
The phone rang in the background, "I'll get it!" yelled Sakura standing up, knocking the chair back with her legs. It landed with a hard crack on the wooden floor.
"Sorry" called Sakura running through the kitchen door to the phone.
She picked up the cordless phone in the living room and made herself comfortable on the couch, "hello?"
"Hey Sakura." "Oh, hi Li"
"What are you doing tonight Sakura?" asked Li.
"Nothing just yet" replied Sakura, "why?"
"Do you want to do anything? Meilin will be coming tomorrow and you never know with Meilin" chuckled Li.
Sakura grunted in reply.
The phone went silent; "are you ok?" asked Li.
"Sorry, I'm just thinking. Come over here, we can watch a movie in my room" replied Sakura considerately.
The phone muffled as Li pressed it against his chest. Then came back on, "yeah, I'm allowed," his voice was happy. "I'll see you then" replied Li hanging up the phone.
Sakura pulled herself up and put the cordless back down. When she went back into the kitchen, the chair was back up and dessert was waiting.
"Li is coming over," said Sakura pulling her chair out, "we'll watch a movie in my room." Adin's face soured, but he didn't speak.
'What!?" asked Sakura distressingly, "we wont do anything! I promise, Li isn't like that."

"Zac, I can't do that! Sakura's not like that. We can wait," said Li.
Zac looked at him tapping his pen on the writing book, "Li, you'll have to, I have."
Li's eyes narrowed, "when!?"
Zac was short of words, "well ok, I haven't exactly yet, but you and Sakura have been together four years and she is turning 16, right?"
Li nodded "so what! I just can't."
Li's voice thundered at Zac and he was forced to give up. "Well there's another story idea" laughed Zac; Li's tension loosened and he laughed also, pouncing on Zac, pinning him to the ground.
"You can't beat me, face it!" bellowed Li, stretching his arms up in joy, but Zac broke free and tossed Li over on to the floor.
"What's the time?" asked LI; Zac observed his watch "around 7pm. Time to go."

Zac followed Li to Sakura's house, "catch ya" he said nudging Li's arm, but as Li's hand swung around to hit Zac, he was gone.
Li straightened and walked to the door and knocked. His observation was quickly distracted.
"Hello Li"
"Oh, hello Mr. Avalon" bowed Li. "Sakura is in her bedroom" said Adin, "thanks" replied Li.
When Li was half way to her room, there came a call from down stairs "would you like a drink, Li?"
"Yes, thanks" replied LI.
Sakura's door was open where he saw her reading. Li stood in the doorway watching her.
Her hair was up in a tangle of gelled hair with ribbons and clips, but she still has her trade mark fringe.
Li let out a sigh and she looked up. Sakura raised her eyebrow "and how long have you been standing there?"
Li grinned and stalked over to her. Sakura sat up and Li kissed her on the head.
"Where's Kero?" asked Li remembering. "He's gone to make Madison's so she can make him a cake." Li sighed in relief, "no pouncing on me today." Sakura nodded, "and relatively alone."
She stretched her hands up and wrapped them around Li's neck. Li hugged back, and then kissed her.
They kissed for minutes until Adin's footsteps sounded down the stairs.
Sakura stood up and turned the TV on. It was snowy until the channel was changed.
"Here is your cup of tea, Li" smiled Adin, holding the tray between his hands.
"Sakura, I was called just now, apparently a tutor has been rushed to hospital and I need to take over. All her information is at school, so I shouldn't be too long. No longer than two hours" said Adin putting the tray down on a table.
Sakura nodded and went looking for a video; Adin left with the car pulling out the driveway and off.
Sakura found a movie and pushed it in, finally sitting back with Li, who had taken the tray.
A sick feeling fell over Li and Sakura's head lay on him, and thoughts of what Zac had said flooded back to him, in strange visions........ "Four years.. 16 soon right?" echoed in Li's mind, until he finally let it out, "Lets do something Sakura."
Sakura's looked at him confused, "what do you mean, Li?" she asked.
Li looked away in shame and Sakura realized what he had meant. "Li!" Li still didn't look up at her; he held his head down still in shame. "Li!"
Sakura moved away from him and stared hard, they both didn't say anything.
'Tap tap tap'
"Hey Sakura, kid! Let me in, its cold out here" said Kero looking in through the window, but no one took notice. "Sakura? Kid?"
"Li what did you mean! Tell me and why!" demanded Sakura, but Li kept silent. He looked back up at her and saw the anger, "I'm sorry Sakura, Zac...." before Li could finish Sakura broke in, "Zac! Zac? Your going to do anything a storywriter says? Zac!?" Sakura Spat at the idea.
Silence fell over them and tears filled Sakura's eyes.
"Li.... GO! Now go! Get out!"
Li looked up at her more, "Sakura?"
"Li, its over! Go now! NOW!" commanded Sakura, with the rising anger.
Li got off the bed where he had been sitting and moved towards the door, "but..."
He turned and saw Sakura crying, and he saw the pain he had caused, he then whispered "I love you" and left without her hearing.
Kero tapped at the window again and Sakura opened it, "hey, hey, what's wrong with the kid?"
"Not now Kero" mumbled Sakura; Kero's smile faded "is there something wrong?"
Sakura's head shook but then began to nod.
Kero transformed into his bigger form and comforted Sakura until Adin came home, when he was forced to return to being smaller.

Sakura didn't sleep much that night, her thoughts dwelled on Li, and how nice he had become, but it always returned to what he had asked.

When the morning had came, it was mid-morning when Sakura woke, leaving Kero to sleep. She had forgotten about the previous night until Adin spoke to Sakura before work "how's Li then?"
Sakura looked up at her father, her lips trembling "we're..... We're not together anymore" she whispered, tears forming in her eyes. "Oh" replied Adin unaware of what to say, "it will be hard Sakura, but time will heal whatever he did, trust me, alright. We'll talk later, sorry but I'm running late. Have fun on your holiday"
Adin left and Sakura was left to herself again.
"Madison please" said Sakura into the phone. "Hello?" came the pleasant reply.
"Madison?"
"Its you Sakura, I thought you'd be with Li now," said Madison.
"No, no because we broke up' said Sakura the words trembling as she cried.
A gasp filled the other end, "you.... Broke up?" repeated Madison to herself and little taken back.
"Why? How? Why?" questioned Madison not believing, "wait, I'll come over."
Before Sakura could speak Madison hung up the phone and was on her way.
By time she had reached Sakura's house, she had Nikki and Chelsea with her, all with their own little items.
Madison held a box of tissues, Nikki held chocolates and Chelsea with a lighter.

Sakura opened the door and they sprang at her, pushing her onto the couch, "we're all going to sleep-over. We need a no boyfriend, girls only night," said Chelsea as the tissues, chocolates and lighter were thrown into Sakura's lap.
A smile crossed Sakura and she wiped away a forming tear, "uh, what's the lighter for?"
"Picture burning of course" giggled Chelsea, "burn all his photos, but first what happened?"

Sakura told them.

"I can't believe it..." said Nikki.
"I can't believe someone listened to Zac, if that's what he meant when he said 'Zac'." giggled Chelsea "no one listens to him."
"That's like Tori and I" said Madison, pulling her head down. Everyone looked at her suprised..
"Madison?" breathed Sakura, tapping Madison on the shoulder. Madison's head came back up and she flashed a smile, "but I have to get over it, like everyone else."
"Good for you" encouraged Nikki.

'Knock knock knock'
"Some one's at the door.." said Chelsea "I'll go get it."
Chelsea opened the door and Li was standing there, his eyes looked tired and his face was sad, but Chelsea's eyes were hard and they weren't going to budge.
"Is Sakura here?" croaked Li's voice. "Yeah, but your not seeing her" bellowed Chelsea. Li stepped back and pushed his hand out, within the clutch of his fingers was a single cherry blossom flower, "can you give this to her?"
Chelsea took the flower, "bye" and she closed the door.

"It was Li" reported Chelsea, handing Sakura the cherry blossom.
Everyone stared blankly at it, then without reason Sakura ripping its petals off and threw them away out the window.
"Oh, will Meilin still come and see us?" asked Nikki.

A FEW DAYS LATER:

"Sakura Avalon!" rumbled Meilin as Madison opened the door.
"Oh, Meilin" said Sakura.
"What have you done to Li? He comes to see me and he looks sick, and tired, but he wont tell me why, other than you aren't together. WHY!" demanded Meilin.
Sakura was reluctant, and Madison didn't say a word, leaving Meilin distressed.
"AVALON!?"
"He asked me something I'm not ready for, that he knows very well I won't do until i'm married" replied Sakura, her voice loud.
Meilin shrank back, and didn't seem as tall, "oh. Well then why am I here? I should beat him."
"No! Meilin don't, just leave it. It won't be easy to get over, but we'll have to" said Sakura.
Meilin sat and they all chatted catching up.

A FEW WEEKS PASSED; (Li still tried to make up)

The mail dropped through the door slot, and Sakura clutched, skimming through it finding a letter from Tori mixed in. The other letters dropped to the floor as Sakura raced to the living room and opened it.

'Dear Dad & Sakura,
It is wonderful travelling. You meet so many people, I wish you were both here, and Madison most of all (no offence). I met a homeless boy in Singapore and I worked with him to start school, I hope he will keep it up. Australia was wonderful, I tried surfing, and they have wicked beaches.
How is everyone? Jullian? Madison?
Don't worry about answering the last one, I'm coming home soon, within a few weeks, but I don't know when this letter will arrive home.

Love always and best wishes
Tori Avalon

Sakura felt excitement run through her. "Madison" was the words that formed on her lips after reading the letter.
She immediately rang Madison and told her the news, when she had finished a knock formed on the door, and without thinking Sakura opened it, and there stood Tori, with his entire luggage. Sakura stood dazed at him and he bent over a little and hugged her, "hello to you too, squirt."
All of her troubles went away and she hugged her brother, who she had missed even more than Madison.

"Where's dad?" asked Tori finally pulling away from Sakura.
"He is at work" mumbled Sakura. Tori gave a satisfied stretch, "good, I can surprise him."
Sakura smiled at him and lended a hand with his luggage, After Tori had a shower and was dressed, they talked long into the night, forgetting their dinner.
There was a rattle at the door of keys, so Tori went and stood near to the entrance. Adin swung the door open and held Chinese take-away out, but it dropped to the floor, as did his mouth.
"Tori." stumbled his words in suprise. "Yeah, hi dad" smirked Tori bending down to pick up the bag his father had dropped.
As he stood, Adin's arms were wrapped around him, "good to see you."
Sakura's head poked from the door smiling.
"Oh, no our dinner is ruined" said Adin, taking it from Tori, Sakura's smile faded, "I'll make dinner!"
Tori's expression was filled with shock; "the squirt wants to make dinner?"
Sakura ran forward and stepped on Tori's foot, "I'm allot taller now, even in four months, I've learned to not take it you big monster!"
"Ouch!" said Tori bouncing around on one foot, "I can see that."
Sakura gave a satisfied grin and disappeared into the kitchen.
Adin stood smiling, Tori not so happy, "she's changed."

After much talking by Tori and Adin, Sakura called from the kitchen "dinners ready."
They all ate silently, each thinking their own thing.
As the dishes were being washed after dinner, Sakura escaped to her room and told Kero, of Tori's return. "Ah, drats! Twice the work of hiding now" moaned Kero, crossing his arms furiously.
"Sorry Kero, but I didn't know... Madison!" apologized Sakura, remembering Madison.
"I'll be right back Kero!" called Sakura leaving the room. She returned quickly with the phone at hand.
"Madison? Tori's back! Sleep over tomorrow," said Sakura without a breath, "I don't know Sakura" hesitated Madison. "Bring me a cake Madison... ppplllleeeeaaaassssseeeeee" broke in Kero, screaming it down the phone. Sakura lifted her hand and pushed him away, "Kero!"
"Alright Sakura, it cant be that bad, can it?" Madison's voice faded. "No it cant, see you tomorrow" said Sakura, "bye."
"So, is Madison sleeping over?" asked Kero impatiently as Sakura let go of his body, Sakura nodded.
"Alright! Cake..." said Kero joyously. Sakura returned down the stairs to tell her Dad, that Madison would be sleeping over. As she did, he looked at Tori and gave an unsure sigh, "alright."

"Kero! Get out!" screamed Sakura, being quiet enough so no one else could hear. "Hey! What?"
Replied Kero, "oh your back."
"You know I don't want you in here, while I get changed" said Sakura, "alright! I'll be outside with the cats if you need me."
Sakura opened the window and closed the blinds, while Kero mumbled outside the window, "its cold out here, you know? Of course you don't, your inside."
"Kero, come back inside" said Sakura poking her head out the window, a chill ran through her.
With out her noticing, three Clow Cards slipped out the window as the breeze ruffled her papers and Clow cards on her desk. She and Kero moved back into the room, slamming the window.

The sun rose steadily over Readington and the night creatures returned to their home until the next night.

"What is this?" spoke and elderly man and he took his walk. "Cards" he said in puzzlement,
"Oh a name." He looked closely but it was smudged slightly with is moist hands, 'I wonder' he thought looking up at the yellow house. Hix, the man, began to walk towards the house, studying the cards he held "Silent, Power, Change" he read, knocking on the door.
Adin answered, but raced right past "sorry, late for a plane." Tori was behind him, "bye dad" he called waving over the old man standing in his way.
"Excuse me" poked Hix. Tori looked down at him (he was much shorter) "I was wondering if these belonged here, I found them at the front of your house." Tori looked at them in his fingers and Hix continued, "if they're not, I would like to take them for my grandson."
"I think they're my sister's but she's asleep, I'll take them" said Tori. Hix handed them over nodding his head and retreating away from the door.
Sakura stumbled down the stairs yawning, "who was that?" she asked sleepily. "Just dad going" he replied, sliding the cards into his pocket.
"How's Li?" grunted Tori in a tone like he couldn't care less. Sakura's face turned sour and she showed it, "oh" said Tori looking away, "like that hey. Did he hurt you? I'll beat him all the way to Egypt."
'No Tori. It just happens, like you and Madison," said Sakura not realizing what she had said, Tori's eyes broadened and he knew exactly what Li had done.
Sakura gasped, grasping her mouth with one hand, she then ran up stairs and closed her door, pushing Kero out. "Hey!" was his defense. "Sorry Kero, getting dressed."
Madison knocked on the door not too long after, Tori answered.
"Uh, hi. Is Sakura home?" she asked bravely, Tori looked away, "yeah, in her room."
Madison walked briskly away and up, Tori watching her, admiring her.
"Hi Kero" she said, seeing him waiting, "what are you doing?"
"She's getting dressed" he snapped in reply. Madison pulled a piece of cake from her bag and handed it to him, his anger quickly disappeared and reappeared as happiness. "Thank you Madison, your the best" he said attaching himself to her in a hug form.
Sakura opened the door, and jumped back startled, "Hi Madison."
Madison smiled back in return.
"Please come in," said Sakura, pulling Kero off of Madison's head as she walked by, "how did you get in?"
"Tori let me in" she replied, Sakura seemed dazed at her calmness.
"I wish I could be like that," said Sakura finally, as she painted her toe nails light pink. "Like what?" asked Madison. "Calm. You're so calm about Tori. Me, I keep thinking about Li," said sakura, her words drifted off as if a dream. "But that was four months ago, it still hurts, but I have to go on, and it definitely hurts him. He couldn't even look at me when I came" replied Madison laughing.
Sakura laughed also.

Downstairs, Tori pulled the Clow cards from his pocket, and his hands clasped on the name. "Silent, Power, Change" he read out to himself, "I wonder what these are for? Sakura always has them, I've seen them." the last words forming into whisper.
Sakura's name was now completely smudged off with the moisture of Hix's hands, Tori's hand and his pocket.
"Silent, Power, Change? How strange" he said to himself again.
At that moment the doorbell rang and the cards slid into his pocket once again.
Li stood at the door, his face was grim. He stood back at the sight of Tori, "uh hi? Is Sakura home?"
"Yeah" said Tori smiling. Something flashed in Tori's eyes and Li was reluctant to say anything more.
"Come in," said Tori sliding the door further open, "she's in her room."
Li didn't move, but then followed the stairs up to Sakura's room.
Tori grinned happily to him self. He looked no different, but a great change was occurring.

Upstairs, Li stood outside Sakura's closed door, thinking of things to say.
Suddenly, he sensed something, 'a Clow card' he thought.
At that moment Sakura ran from her room, running right into Li, knocking him to the floor and her on top.
"Oh, Li" said Sakura, just lying there.
She finally pulled herself up, Madison stood in the doorway giggling gently and Kero hovered.
"And what are you doing here!?" demanded Kero, pushing himself between the faces of Sakura and Li, as they stood face to face.
"Tori, let me in" mumbled Li, Sakura stepped back, " a Clow card!" she said, Li also.
"But how?" asked Sakura, looking down the stairs, "its close, but how?" Both Li and Kero were lost for reason.
Sakura stepped gently down the stairs, followed by Li, Madison, and then Kero.
Tori was asleep on the living room chair, breathing gently.
"Sakura? Why are the windows barred?" whispered Madison, pointing to the small strands of light, pushing through wooden slates on the windows.
"Ah..." said Sakura, not sure.
They all moved closer to Tori, but as Madison's foot stepped it squeaked on the floor and Tori's eyes flashed open, and he looked at them all. Kero fell stiff, but he was floating in the air.
"Tori? Are you ok?" whispered Sakura.
Something passed through Tori's eyes and they turned red, like fire. A wicked smile of sharp teeth filled his mouth, sparkling in the light, and gloves formed on his hands.
Sakura, Madison and Li jumped back in suprise, all falling stiff with fear.
Like a wave over his body, Tori's clothing changed. His plain blue top changed into a long blue jacket, with high collar. Underneath was a black silk top with white clasping buttons, and his jeans changed into male leggings, and black boots. His gloves were also black.
"T.. T..Tori?" stumbled Sakura's words, her body still stiff.
"Tori's not here, sweetheart" said the rasping voice, "come with me, Card Captors!"
Sakura found the courage to move, stepping back; "Tori?" tried Sakura again.
"I'm not Tori, Tori is a rat, i'm the true side of him" rasped the voice again, Tori's lips moving in sync with the voice. "Well - well then who are you?" asked Madison stepping forward, in front of Sakura, and the group.
"Corree" said the voice so plainly. Sakura began to laugh, but Li pressed his hand over mouth quickly, and whispered in her ear, "he's being serious, Sakura. I wasn't."
"Why, Tori?" asked Madison moving closer, in the dim light. "Corree!" blasted Corree, pointing his finger out at Madison, "silence!"
And as he had said, Madison fell utterly silent. "Madison?" asked Sakura, pulling away from Li's hold. Madison held her neck, helplessly, but no sound formed.
"Uh, I have a good idea," said Kero, "run!"
At that moment everyone made their way to Sakura's room where they barricaded the doors the best they could. In the light of Sakura's room, their eyes watered with the dazzling light.
"What was that?" asked Sakura sitting with the back to the door, "what's wrong with Madison?"
Everyone looked at Madison's distressed face.
"I sensensed a Clow card, but it cant be, can it Kero?" continued Sakura.
Kero sat by Madison on the bed thinking, "kid?" he finally said, Li looked away to ignore him, "no time to pout Li! Do you have your Clow Cards with you?"
Li nodded, "always". "Sakura, get yours" commanded Kero. Sakura looked at him, but then stood up and gathered up the scattered cards on her desk. She sat back at the door, "now what Kero?"
"Are you missing any?" asked Kero. Li and Sakura skimmed through their cards, and Sakura's face fell grim.
"Three. I'm missing three," she said shamingly. "I knew it! That's the Clow cards you're sensing, but Tori and Corree, I don't know.... Do you know which cards?"
Sakura looked through her pile again, "I think, change, power and silent."
"That's why Madison is silent" said Li, "but silent works differently."
"Wait!' said Sakura standing, "my name are on ALL my cards, how can they be free?"
"Sakura, we don't know, but wouldn't it be best for us all to focus on a bigger problem then three Clow cards, which only one is truly powerful?" said Li, "Your mental brother, somehow controlling a Clow card, and his new side, Corree."
No one had noticed Madison, looking around for a pen and paper, she found some and started scribbling words down. Then at the click of her fingers, the attention was on her.

CAN CLOW CARDS POSSESS SOMEONE IF THERE IS ENOUGH POWER?

They read the note. Kero considered it, "uh, I don't actually know. It is possible I think."
"Madison is right" said Sakura, "Tori or Corree is wearing the silent card outfit, his eyes are red like the power card's form and Corree is his changed self, therefore the change card. They're all working against us."
Sakura fell silent, looking down at the ground, "I thought only two can work together though."
Kero then spoke "only a card captor can use two, Clow cards working together is extremely rare, but how they got out, is another thing."
"Listen! Don't worry about that now!" bellowed Li, suddenly, "we may have three Clow cards possessing a human, who knows what may happened if Sakura's seals them again. Can you seal them again?"
Sakura looked at him and the faces of Madison and Kero, 'What will happen to Tori?"
"I'm not sure Sakura, but we don't know what Corree will do to us, regardless of Tori. You have to, like always" whispered Li.
Sakura nodded, but the sudden thudding at the door quickly frightened her.
Madison stood from her place, and her eyebrows frowned as she pushed past Sakura, and exited the room, "Madison, NO!" called Kero, Sakura and Li, but she was gone and the thudding had stopped.
Sakura pulled her key out...
"Key of Clow
Power of magic
Power of light
Surrender the wand
The force ignite
RELEASE!"
Chanted Sakura, the words were almost forgotten. She took up the staff and looked at Li rubbing the back of her head, "I almost forgot the words."
"Alright! Lets go!" said Sakura, "and where is go?" asked Kero, staring her in the face, up close. "To face Tori or Corree, whatever!"
"Do you have a plan?" asked Kero, finding reason not to go. "I may, but Li will have to help me."
Li looked up, "me?" Sakura nodded, she opened the door and no one was there.
Sakura stepped out, holding the staff close. "Oh, man" said Li. "What!?" asked Sakura stopping dead in her tracks, making Li bump into her. "I don't have my battle costume" he said, "would it fit still?" asked Sakura, trying to break the tension. Li looked down "your right."
"Hey! We do have a situation here," said Kero his tone growing ever more angry.
"Gee Kero, we were only joking" said Sakura nervously.
Kero hit Sakura on the back of the head, "I'm not." "Kero!" roared Sakura looking at him, "that hurt!" Kero sank away and Sakura suddenly seemed much taller.
Sakura tiptoed down the stairs, as quiet as she could be, Li followed tip toeing also and Kero flew as easy as he could.
There was no sign of Madison or Tori, and Sakura felt a great relief, but she kept it from Kero or Li seeing. The light in the house was completely dull, and their eyes had to adjust to it.
"We cane split up," said Sakura bravely, gulping down her slight fear.
Kero hovered off in another direction and Li stood by Sakura where he grabbed her shoulder, "just yell if you need us." He was reluctant but then when towards the kitchen, Kero to the basement. This left Sakura the living room. She slid the door open, and it was pitch black, "Corree or Tori?" she whispered, "Madison?" but nothing.
Taking her staff into one hand, Sakura reached her hand in to the wall, looking for a switch, she found it and flicked it, but no light came on.
"Now tell everyone about the relationship" came a whispering voice of bad intentions, "Tori never loved you, you were just, just nothing!"
'Corree' thought Sakura; she then began to slide along the wall, in the living room, hoping not to be heard. The voice continued oblivious to Sakura in the darkness, "You were nothing, Madison."
Sakura stopped dead in her tracks, "Madison" she breathed.
"Hello card captor" said Corree looking directly at Sakura in the darkness, but Sakura couldn't see, she stayed still with her eyes closed tightly, not breathing.
"I can see you Sakura," said Corree moving slightly towards her, Sakura heard him and made a run for the window, where she pulled the blind open, and the light shot through, dazzling them all.
From the hallway, Li and Kero saw the light shoot out into the passageway, and they raced to it
Madison was tied to a chair in the center of the room, her head drooped down into her chest but breathing.
Sakura was at the window covering her eyes from the sudden light and Corree was close.
"Time card; Freeze time!" said Li pulling it out and using it. Everything went still, except Sakura, and Corree slightly.
"What's this?" rasped Corree, trying to move his feet but not being able to. Sakura stood and looked a little suprised, "quick Sakura, the time card uses a lot of energy, I don't have to spare, its barely holding Corree to the ground, HURRY!" said Li.
Sakura nodded, and thought for a second, "I know!"
"Power, return to your power confined!" said Sakura raising her staff and dropping it in her hands, cutting the still air, but nothing happened.
Li had dropped to the ground now, "try something else, Sakura. Please."
"But what Li?" asked Sakura desperately, Li's face was blank and he seemed to lower further to the ground.
'I wish Kero weren't frozen in time' thought Sakura looking at him, poised in the air.
"Let my brother go, Silent, Power, Change. Return to your power confined" demanded Sakura, flailing her staff in the air again. As Li's body hit the ground and Corree was released from the place on the ground, and time began again, the Clow cards fell from Tori's pocket and spiraled around in the air, in a magnificence of mist. Tori's clothing changed back to his original, and he body flopped to the ground where it lay.
The Clow cards returned to Sakura's hand, where her name was still smudged at the bottom.
Only she and Kero were awake, but soon Madison's head bounced up and looked up innocently, she looked at Tori lying on the ground. "Tori!?" she said trying to break free. Kero hovered behind her and untied her from the chair. Madison stumbled slightly, but then crouched beside Tori trying to wake him.
Sakura went over to Li, where he had fainted, the time card sat in his hand as sakura lifted his head into her lap, "Li" she whispered.
"Madison, are you ok?" asked Sakura looking up, at her, Madison nodded, "yeah" she grabbed her throat as it croaked.
Sakura looked back down, "Li?"
Kero sat by Li and Sakura, "hey kid! Wake up."
Li began to breathe normally and his eyes opened steadily, sakura gave a sigh of relief, and she felt sudden butterflies in her stomach. "Uh, hi Sakura. Did you stop him?" asked Li looking up, sleepily.
Sakura nodded and pulled Li up closer, hugging him, he lifted his arms up and returned it the best he could.
Tori was breathing deeply, and didn't seem to want to wake, "Tori, please wake," said Madison, as tears filled her eyes, and she shook him, "please."
Li pulled himself up, and looked Sakura right in the eyes, "I didn't mean it, I promise" apologized Li, "please believe me, I'll never listen to Zac again, just give me another chance, please Sakura."
Li's last words turned into begging and glints of tears formed in his eyes, but Sakura looked stern at him.
"I will respect your wishes, I don't know what I was thinking" begged Li, Sakura's smile returned as she saw something deep in Li, she quickly wrapped her arms around him more. "Yuck!" was Kero's response as he spat in disgust.
"I think I've fallen in love with you all over again" whispered Li into Sakura's ear, "me too, but we have to help Madison" replied Sakura, pulling away from Li.
Li nodded and they all moved Tori on to the living room chair. Madison stayed by his side, and Li, Sakura and Kero unblocked the windows.
The setting light streamed through the windows brightening it, with mystical colors of pink and orange. And Sakura wrote her name permanently on the three Clow cards.

Li went home after some time, happier.
Madison stayed over where she fell asleep by Tori and Sakura fell asleep leaning against the chair he lay.

"Squirt, hey squirt" nudged Tori, Sakura opened her eyes, "yeah what?" she mumbled. "What happened yesterday? Why are we down here?" asked Tori. Sakura woke up and remembered the day's events, then the butterflies returned and she felt happy remembering Li.
"Oh nothing, you just fell asleep and I guess we did too" said Sakura.
Madison woke and she lit with joy, "are you ok Tori? You didn't wake."
Tori looked at Madison puzzled; Sakura made signals for her to say nothing, so she fell silent.
"If I just fell asleep, why am I still so tired?" asked Tori suspiciously. "Ah dunno" replied Sakura, pulling Madison up into her room, before Tori could ask anything else.
'I know something happened, but who is Corree?' thought Tori.
